We like to give our puppies temporary names. 

When a puppy is placed, we begin using the call name selected by the puppies family

... beginning with Feliz, have you thought of a name for Havana Silk Dog registry

which can also be used for your AKC registration

and a call name...???

Awe…   the sweet smell of puppy breath! the cute little fuzzy faces…  all of those irresistible puppy things are all overwhelming!

On that particular day you start looking, you discover Havana Silk Dog is much harder to find - Many claim they are Havana Silk Dogs but those without HSDAA registration numbers are not telling you the truth!!   Check the parent club check references – when you locate a reputable breeder, be prepared to wait, as they may not have a litter available the first time you contact them.  

Check out the website www.offa.org and look up their dogs.  If you cannot find their dog's), you should run.

with regards to a pet Havana Silk Dog...

At Feliz we breed only health tested dogs, also having good temperaments. Our puppies are hand raised and socialized prior to going home.  Every litter goes on ‘socialization’ visits to our friends and plays with their Havanese prior to going home.  Our puppies mix well with our Havanese… and Qtip the cat.    Our puppies are also generally exposed, weather permitting,  to agility equipment in our back yard.

Reputable Breeders DO NOT sell their dogs through stores or Brokers!!

  In placing a puppy, we require a purchase agreement…

The cost of adopting one of our puppies is $2,000, which includes the first set of shots and, BAER testing and registering the results with the OFA. . Additionally, we provide you with a puppy book with copies of all the parents important papers and pictures of them growing up. 

Here at Feliz we feel we have a responsibility to ensure that someone is not out there back yard breeding and producing possibly unhealthy dogs that may someday end up in shelters     We are selective in the placement of our puppies ...we strive to trust that we have placed this precious little life into a loving and caring home
